Life's purpose statement

Living on purpose is the only way to really live. Everything else is just existing. - R.W.

There are 3 common basic issue everyone struggle in life:
¬Identity - Who am I?
¬Impotance - Do I matter?
¬Impact - What is my place in life?

So, what is a life purpose statement?

I'll attempt to break this down by Life's 5 Greatest Questions:

1. What will be the center of my life?

God is in the center of my life. The way how everything is happening to me, all that I am is all because of HIM. Without God navigating my life with all the incidence, I cannot think of how I would be able to do all that by myself. Truly, HE is in the center of my life.

2. What will be the character of my life?

I question a lot about characters of my life. I am a female, a daughter, a sister, a colleague, a friend, a sister-in-Christ, a niece, a granddaughter, an aunt, a cousin, a mentor, a counsellor, a student, a citizen, a traveller, a foreigner, a child of God... What else... I can only reflect that across all the different characters I play as the main character of this film called ME is the consistent calm self who tries to ensure harmony.

3. What will be the contribution of my life?

Hmmm... you bet, it's a tough one to define. I contribute to living a life as is. I contribute to nurture anyone I engage with as the best in each role I play. I contribute to not just lead but the keyword is nurture growth in every type of relationships I engage with. Something that I will be remembered as "The one who made an impact in the lives I touch".

4. What will be the communication of my life?

I treat each day like an endless adventurous journey. No matter what comes my way in any of the roles I play, each in its own journey is a form of adventure. I don't want to over-define and over-plan life because it is not mine but GOD's. I have to keep reminding myself so that I know that I cannot control but I am granted wisdom to address and live this amazing life.

5. What will be the community of my life?

As there are so many characters I play in this life, I have that circles of community developed for me to continuously have different parts of life that I can continuously grow and enjoy. Be it in the family, extended family, friendsmily, at work, at church and anywhere else...

A good way for me to close this season of 2023 and embark on 2024's adventure.
